Now I really want him as a coach. I'm kinda pissed at CJG. It's like he didn't get the RB he wanted this cycle, and preached about this staffs great attitude and then leaves .

His son said he wanted to get out of his dad's shadow. It worries me that of Auburn's former staff, he was the one who has not been hired by anyone. Anyone else think this is odd that Thigpen got hired, but noone hired Trooper?

Read on VQ that he was one of the lowest paid members on staff and that Butch was trying to get his contract re-nogotiated. If it comes down to $ then wtf was the deal? Are running backs improved drastically under graham and he was the main reason for Marquez north. So who's to blame here?

I bet CJG will be loosing a bunch of twitter followers. This does feel like a gut shot right now. However, if (make that a big IF) they make a good hire, the sting will be gone by opening day. Bring on Trooper!

I don't blame him for going for more money. But, I hope UT was given a chance to match it. On the other hand, he has not recruited a really good RB for us. With this info of him perhaps being slighted or whatever, he may not have recruited hard and may have told some of these guys secretly he was leaving. Who knows what has really went down. But, it is what it is. This kind of attrition of staff already is weird but CJG may have knew he was kept just because he was a VOL and to help get some of the guys we were on at the time. I want to see what happens on the field this year and if a new guy brings us some good backs, then this could be looking good in the future. If not, we will end up being SOL. Hindsight will be 20/20. Not liking this very much at all.
