The fact we almost lost him makes him even more special, imo. I hope he chooses the Vols. I hope his first Vol Walk and run through the T is everything he dreamed it would be. And I hope his mom enjoys her drives up to Knoxville on Saturday's in the fall to watch one of the most loved players to wear Orange.

Yeah, he had some down years at the end there at UF and jumped ship. But he came back and took a 6-7 OSU team to a 12-0 finish.

I don't like him one bit, but I respect him as a coach (similar to Saban, Spurrier).

I'm with you here. I really have no beef with Urban Meyer. I mean I ridicule him a good bit of the time for having heart problems after Tebow left, and I think that was probably one of the most obvious "abandon ship" moments in the history of football, but ultimately he seems to do pretty well wherever he is.

However, I give OSU zero credit for their "awesome undefeated season" last year. Their schedule was miserably weak and they still had a bunch of close calls. They shouldn't have been near the National Championship anyways and were in no way anywhere near the same league as Bama/Oregon/K-State

Quick Take- Bell has been a lean to Tennessee, Ohio State and Alabama at different times during the process. In the end, proximity wins out, though the Buckeyes are making things very interesting.

Per Corey Vereen's high school coach (Petree) Von Bell will be signing with Tennessee.

Said he and Corey became close on Vonn's visit and the two text daily.

Petree is no longer at west orange HS....ran into him this morning at a citrus sports event.
