Friend, I appreciate you are an Auburn fan. So am I. But you sound like a bammer flaming on an AU board right now.
TTowel is one of your better brethren now. He can be somewhat abrupt at times but his info has been pretty good regarding AU and he definitely leads the charge on a few sites supporting AU. I have only found one other and that is KKolumbo, that supports AU on non AU sites and brings solid info.
What is the world coming to when a Tide fan is supporting an AU fan.
Most definitely, but it sometimes come with nature of posting, especially when you frequent a board like the Rant. But I agree as well that sometimes the need for agressiveness is not needed.
I've been saying the same thing for a while now. NO ONE knows what Carl Lawson's going to do or which school he's favoring. I don't even think he knows. All these predictions from the analyst at this point's just a crap shoot. Just let this play out and quit getting overly excited when he says he had a good visit at UT or over reacting when he says he has a good visit at Auburn. Tennessee will be fine no matter what Carl decides.
Kid sounds pro tenn and dad pro auburn.
IMO this dad is willing to allow the kid to make the final decision.

Their academics office is not well respected in the industry & while there are couple really nice people there, the majority of them are not stand-up in nature. Their football academic staff, in particular, aren't the most pleasant individuals.
I'm not saying that UT's football academic advisors or staff is any better or worse either, as everyone I know up there has mostly left. I will say that UT has a MUCH nicer academic facility than Auburn though since Auburn's is just thrown into their main athletics building.
The barn allows players to scrub classes after the drop period, to keep them eligible for play. After 3 years of swapping classes, the players still need 2 more years of class time to graduate. It is not new. They have always done it. They started offering free tuition for players that want to come back and finish their deg. It is much like the VFL program, but theirs is shaady, and is a legitimate illegal process.
They can bee in a class for half a semester, and still drop ... and get the class switched to an ellective. They can do that 2 times a year .. that's 6 courses and very many hours.
While it is great for the player while there .. they almost never come back to finish.
See scam newton... plus they get an NFLer enroled while kids making these decisions.
It should be illegal, it is suposed to be. But somehow they can do it.
