I thought all coaches were supposed to be "tireless recruiters" by the nature of their job descriptions and compensation. If you are going to be "the best staff in America" you better be more than a tireless recruiter.

All the love for coaches doing a portion of their jobs they are supposed to do is sickening to me. These guys are getting paid big bucks and so far they are doing what they are supposed to do. If they nail down a top 15 or better class then they deserve some extra atta boys, but not until.

It means that if he felt comfortable with UT, he will not make anymore visits. If he was not, he could commit to the next school he could possibly visit.

Considering the stories that came out about the old staff, I apologize for getting excited about Butch and Co., most high internet warlord.

With our recent play on the field, we should not have these types of names on campus after the worst stretch in program history. We win some games, and we will be back on map behind CBJ and staff. I know you had alot of remarks about the staff, and coach Jones saying it is the best in America. What is he suppose to say? Buy in, or GTFO IMHO.

I think you're reading into his optimism. The #2 player in the nation is strongly considering playing for UT. Given a couple sub-.500 season in 4 years and Dooley's incompetence with the highest rated recruits, I'd say there's reason to be optimistic.

I don't think flip is the right word....this kid hates drama to the point that he has never formally decommitted from Auburn...but if you read the fallout from Rodney Garner leaving Georgia most of the Peach state blame Garner for the Dawgs not even being a player for Lawson

You're not going to get any commitments from big name recruits if they aren't OVing to your school. Its definitely something to be excited about to get such big names on campus. Especially with how little time he has been here.
