Ron what do u take from him saying he wants barber to commit first? So he will have a reason to flop maybe? But barber is supposed to be taking all these visits still and Lawson's dad said it wouldn't go to signing day so?

I'm not really sure. Hard to tell without knowing the full context in which he said it. Maybe he was joking? Maybe not. Hopefully Butch closed the deal and a handful of these kids go ahead and commit today :)

In my opinion if Lawson would go ahead and flip to UT if that is his intention I think many other dominoes will start to fall for UT. It appears some of the top targets are waiting to see what the others are going to do. The earlier it happens the better, if it goes longer other schools remain in play for these guys.

I agree. This would probably be the best time for it since this was our biggest recruiting weekend of the yr.

This is wrong too. People were saying Clowney was NFL ready coming out of high school. Lawson is an elite prospect and is good enough on his own without the Clowney comparisons.

It had previously been mentioned that Jones was planning his in home this week. I don't believe Malzahn has used his yet, but SCtiger would know more about that

I don't think Malzahn has had an in-home visit yet. Garner visited Lawson last week and will again this coming week. Latest I heard was that Lawson will take SATs on Jan. 26 with no OVs scheduled. The weekend of Feb. 2 he plans to OV to Auburn.
