Could we really be looking at landing North and Lawson? I also think we have a good chance at Bell, in spite of Saban and Urban. Now, if we could just get Green or Ford.

Why's people always gotta take jabs at someone getting a check? Disabled vets probably don't appreciate that mess too much. And I doubt many welfare mamas give a crap about college football recruiting.

Man I hope you meet Carl Lawson in the trenches. Do you work, have kids, have property, or anything productive. I basically work 3 jobs, have kids, married, house, degree, pay taxes to give to those who don't... and I hate the fact that people can draw checks for nothing. VET's earned their checks.

You do or basically do? There's a difference and yeh, I earn every thing I get . That doesn't diminish the vile crap people say about folks with disabilities , whether they're vets or work accidents , whatever. You knocking someone up and having a bunch of kids and having to go to work doesn't give you the right to smash someone who can't . I don't "basically" earn my way. I damn sure do. But I don't belittle everyone that doesn't have the same chances at it.

I really like the fact that so many people feel good about Lawson, North, and maybe Bell. I would love to land all three. Wez coast, I don't think this a good issue to discuss on the thread. Neither one of us are going to convice the other we are right. Oh and if you like UT and Oregon then who will you be pulling for next year?:thumbsup:

Thank you for ending that i hope the the other guy will follow your lead. And yes I think lawson and north seem very likely, but idk about bell or green.

That's the one thing you're right about. It's not the right place for this. As far as who I'm pulling for, why on God's earth would I waste my time on a message board of a team as sh**ty as Tennessee's been when the other team I just happen to enjoy watching and nothing more is handling themselves just fine? Especially since every other post on this board ends up being a crap slinging contest eventually.

We might be more alike than not. I also enjoy watching Oregon but home is where the heart is. I went and watched Oregon vs UT at Neyland in 2010. I saw that night they was on their way to the National Championship Game. Now if UT can start pulling more Carl Lawson type kids then we can be on our way to a National Championship Game. Plus, I hope we can play Oregon to start the year every 2 to 3 years. It's such a big draw.

Well I live/moved up here,and obviously for geographical reasons alone, UO or OSU is all I hear up here. I actually started watching Oregon back when Harrington was playing, but they're still just a sideshow to me no matter how much they win or lose. I'd love nothing more than to see UT rise and blow the sides off of Autzen Stadium.

Me too. Can Butch Jones make up that much ground in only 10 months? Chip Kelly has been coaching how to win big for the last 3-4 years. Ours guys had to listen to Dooley and his baby step approach system during that time. I beleive Butch Jones will coach them into that mode in by 2014 but can he pull it off against Oregon as early as next year? Talent wise I think Tenn = Oregon or atleast very close to equal.

Yes and he can start his career off right by committing to UT this weekend. Then go to Oregon in the 3rd week of the season for a win. Then on to Florida for a 4-0 start. Freshman Carl Lawson recieves freshman player of the week awards two weeks in a row for his efforts at Eugene and Gainsville. GO VOLS
