'13 AL RB Johnathan Ford (no longer a Vandy commit)

Here's the part about D Lawson...

"Ford also spent time with Tennessee strength coach Dave Lawson and his time with the veteran strength coach also impressed Ford.

"It was unbelievable with the strength coach. He knows his stuff. He's really passionate about it and he has great ideas about where he wants to do with me already and I'm very, very serious guy and it was great," Ford said.

Also mentioned that Dave Lawson talked to him.

He should make an impact early at Tennessee, plus they get better TV time than Vandy.

Edit that quote sounds much better than the father figure thing.

I have trouble believing a "Vandy grad" would say anything remotely close to this.

Even if he had a stellar college & NFL career, he'll still retire from playing football LONG before he'll stop working.

Everyone needs a degree nowadays...

I agree...if you want to spend your life working in a cubicle.

Some people on the Vandy board are claiming in the picture of all the recruits in the UT locker room that Ford is making a "Vandy" hand signal in the photo. One guy on the VU board said he does not think he is, something about his thumb. They seem worried.

Lol, Vandy fans are dumber than I thought if they thought he was doing that.

Looks like he has all five fingers extended thats not the VU sign.

I thought he might have been doing it at first but he is just holding 3 fingers out like people do. Not the gay vandy sign

He's holding up five fingers. Were any of the Vandy fans smart enough to notice what jersey number he is wearing? :p
