1. Carpeted floors and cleaning services at USAFA; much more rigorous Plebe duties at USMA.

2. Much cooler to have the prospect of flying a jet than of being a grunt or a tanker. Advantage, USNA and USAFA (and, yes, I know that most graduates do not fly jets, but at 18, I think most of those plebes think they will be fighter pilots).

3. Nobody really wants to live on a boat; however, even less individuals want to live in Manhattan, KS and Ft. Drum, NY. Advantage, USAFA.
