Most of the fish in chips in Boston is subpar; lobster is great and cheap, but I do not want to eat lobster every night; chowder is also pretty good. Beef is expensive in Boston, there is little to no good BBQ or good fried chicken, and there are no good Mexican joints. Also, the local beer selection in Boston has been quite disappointed; I really thought Boston would be a better craft brew town.
1. Carpeted floors and cleaning services at USAFA; much more rigorous Plebe duties at USMA.
2. Much cooler to have the prospect of flying a jet than of being a grunt or a tanker. Advantage, USNA and USAFA (and, yes, I know that most graduates do not fly jets, but at 18, I think most of those plebes think they will be fighter pilots).
3. Nobody really wants to live on a boat; however, even less individuals want to live in Manhattan, KS and Ft. Drum, NY. Advantage, USAFA.
How hard is it to make butter?
totally dummy proof, you just need a few pints of heavy whipping cream at room temp and a good mixer that has a very low speed or if you want to occupy Ian for 30 mins, get a clean quart jar with a lid and pour the cream in it, drop a glass marble in it and let him shake it or roll it around for a 30 or 45 mins. (with a mixer you will actually see little yellow globs of butter start forming on the top) keep going till yyou have 2 separate things in your bowl/jar. pour it easily into a colander and let it drain for 15 mins or so, work a little salt in it and refridgerate. Its realy good
