'15 JUCO RB Alvin Kamara (UT commit 6/21/14)

best way to deal with him is to start tish with him and tie up his valuable basement time responding to our provocations. this way he will spend a great majority of his life wasting time trying to convince people who despise him of his viewpoints. its a wonderful kind of revenge when you just do a drive by and ignore his responses. hell, i see TW and a four paragraph dissertation i just scroll down to the next post realizing he just wasted 5 min of his life attempting to convince his enemies to accept him. i truly cannot imagine hanging out on another team's board day after day, much less posting there other than to ask a recruiting question then leave. Ala's massive accumulation of talent over the last five years has them where they should be. Anything less than an sec championship and playing in the title game would be a failure considering the edge they have in talent over every team they play. saban proved he was an 8-4 coach in a state where he wasnt the lead dog, having to compete with mich and ohio state for elite talent. once he moved to jobs where he was the only game in town, those 8-4 turn into 10-2 11-1 or undefeated seasons, which help to bring in even more talent. conceding that one has a talent edge diminishes the accopmlishment somewhat in some people's eyes though. Yet it is what were all trying to do.

this.

“Alabama and Georgia are the front-runners, but I am still looking at Oregon -- and Tennessee too, with Butch Jones being there now,” Kamara said.

Planning on settingup visits after this week. Has not set any up yet.:hi:

This jumps out at me as he is really interested in us. Specifically naming jones that way tells me this is a real possibility. Maybe I am reading too much into it but I think there's reason for hope.

Good looking kids TW but why did you feel the need to post a pic of them to defend yourself from derogatory posts from people you don't even know?

Think you might be taking this stuff a bit to seriously?

It is just for fun and the pic was on my computer and was actually looking at it when someone was joking about posting the pic of the wife.

I take it all in stride.:toast:

All-star practices often don't give running backs too many opportunities to shine and that was the case with top 100 target Alvin Kamara through day one.

"Alvin Kamara showed his one-cut vertical ability a few times, but there wasn't a lot going on at the running back position. He and Kelvin Taylor split reps and he had some more opportunities to catch the ball out of the backfield where he shines. Again, I thought he had a really good day but don't think there was anything spectacular from the running backs aside from a tremendous run from Keith Ford," said Hamilton.

Just curious TW but what is your ties to Alabama. Were you born there, live there, graduate/attended UA? I noticed you joined VN a short time ater Saban was hired. Not slamming you as you have the right to be a fan of any team you like.

I will keep it short because I explained already why I started following recruiting and when I did on all sites. So if you want to know that you can find it on here and read. But lets just say that alot of free time became available for me.:)

Actually from TN and when I was 8, my uncle(also from TN) who retired from the Army(in AL) worked for the UA AD, took me to hear the Bear speak and I got to meet him in person. Ever since followed the Tide.:hi:

So in other words, you're a bandwagon fan.

I found when you ask who some of their favorite players were during the Bear's tenure, lean years until Stallings, and during their decade of mediocrity until Saban arrived they generally have a blank stare and mumble 'Bear Bryant' repetitively.

Yep. Works nearly every time but won't here with TW

I guess so for 30+ years and never pulled for another CFB team. Been with UA through all the good and the bad.

I personally love the part where ur coach was pulled out of a motel with hookers and drugs. nothing would have painted a better picture of bama unless the hookers were obese and related.

Yea he's got the right to follow any team he wishes for whatever reason but I think his answer puts a little perspective into his fandom. You use to see a 10 to 1 UT gear around Ktown now it's more like 10 to 1 Alabama garb. Seems many chose to cheer for whomever is hot.
