How many damn times do I have to correct your dumbass (& thats for the stupid comment)!? Show me where UL is ranked 40th in defense, show me. B/c I've linked 3 different websites in this thread showing you where there ranked 25th. 25th!! Thats the worst Strongs defense has been ranked at UL.

Agreed, none deserve to be the HC at UT but sad fact is 1 of them probably will. Lets at least hire one that has won their conference.

We are hiring a coach to turn our football team around, not hiring someone to be our lifetime buddy.

All coaches get stale after time. They need new challenges and programs need new blood every so often.

do you have to correct? if you were ever right then you would have to do it not once

here is a link - all you have to do is click on it and count - you will then see they are nowhere close to top 25 in pts per game

and for those that say stats are skewed based on who you play - they played 1, count it, 1, offense in the top 50 in the country

so he plays offenses that put up no points on any other teams, lots of points on his but he is a defensive genius

i really want to know - have you watched lville play the last 3 years? if you have seen strong coach i find it hard to believe you are impressed

I didn't know ppg was overall defense, learn something new every day. /sarcasm/. It's called total defense for a reason & under Strong UL has never been below 25th in the nation.

last time i checked you won or lost based on how much you score and you much you give up so pts per game is a pretty F%$^# important stat
