I'm not caving....all I'm apologizing for is wrong date. I gave you guys the Dooley firing but missed date of announcement. I gave you Gruden hiring....just wrong date. Let it play out guys and you will see I know what I'm talking about. I'm not gonna make a bunch of posts about it but my info is solid. I told you guys the media hasn't been right about anything! Someone will swoop in and appear to save the day on Gruden. Just sit back...watch....and let it play out.

Chattanooga TFP just published another article. Here is a quote from their article:

"Anyone who says there were no talks between the two sides or that Jon was not putting together a staff and believing that he would be the next UT coach is misinformed," one source told the Times Free Press on Friday evening. "It can be spun a lot of different ways, but the bottom line is there were discussions going on and he seriously believed this thing would get done."

Well, I appreciate you, boro, jay, dto, beecher, bcarter and the others who came forth with info. I will believe it isn't Gruden when the Vols introduce a coach and it isn't Gruden.

Just heard KPD got a call from 911 said Dave Hart was calling from his residence and freaking out blubbering something about a "Chucky" doll with a kitchen knife in the hallway outside his bedroom.

Which makes me believe more strongly that Hart derailed the train because Gruden was not his guy!!!

I'm not sure.

Take the post Pearl basketball search. Hamilton sought the council of Ernie Grunfield and people in the basketball community. Rather than going with a hot name like S. Smart...we got Martin. Hamilton never would have arrived at that conclusion w/o EG.

In this case, it appears, Manning and others have given Hart advice and he is either, playing the game to fit with Gruden's timeline or he's ignoring the advice.

I do not have any E - Cred, no sources, no friends in high places. I'm a football guy, played, coached, study...this is a power play and you don't line up in a power I and run to the formation unless you can win.

This buisness about Tennessee being to big of a job for Gruden, I do not buy. That's a loser mentality and I don't know him, but that dog don't hunt.
