I hope that Hart's tenure at UT will be short-lived. Maybe he was he hatchet man hired to trim the fat and merge the two athletic depts. Maybe this will motivate the power people to put Hart to pasture.

You guys are blinded by the ineptitude of the Knoxville media. They do not even know who to side with. The AD or the boosters. They are terrified of losing their access. That is why the Chattanooga media was used by the boosters to get this out.

People like Tony B are good intending bit they make it worse reporting every silly rumor.

The house of cards has to fall.

What has happened makes no sense. What does make sense is that CJG in the next HC at the University of Tennessee. They gotta cut the Boosters out of the hire and then Hart will be the hero.

Let's face it, Tennessee has a very passionate fan-base and when something upsets them, they will, and do, place blame on people to take out their frustrations and have no problem being quick to point a finger. Now, I can't speak for them, but I believe some still believe what they're told. I know for myself, I still believe 100% what I've been told and what I've relayed to you all. Referring to my first post, coaching searches are dynamic; there is no outlined blue-print as to who announces what and when they announce it.

I wouldn't push to ask these guys questions. As upset as some of you might be, what they've done in sharing their information with you was overly generous, as it is absolute fact that some of what they had to say was true. They could have kept it to themselves and not offered it to any of you and you would be left in the dark. They deserve a thanks, and the benefit of the doubt until someone other than Jon Gruden is hired as the Head Coach.

You said we could ask you questions a few days ago. Can you elaborate on the changes in the AD after Gruden is hired?

More from LWS...

Haslam would be fine with Gruden, but not with what they wanted. NO school could accept their terms. And I don't know all the details but based on what I heard 2 weeks ago and it being correct, I never felt this would fly. The end result happened in the last 48 hours. back off and it could be back in play.

Every night we go to bed excited for Gruden, only to wake up to bad news. Maybe tonight since we're going to bed feeling down, we will wake up to good news!

Said that he never thought there was a chance that Gruden would take the UT job.... But that Charles doesn't ask him those kinds of questions during the season.

Walt Harris had the job at Pacific. Grude took the Holmgren slave job for free instead of staying at Pacific to learn the run and shoot. What could have been.

Gruden wanted the job. Gonna be some upset people when the details come out. And like Larry said, Hart is the winner. He has The Juice.

If this is true, Hart will be looking for a job himself. The big $$$ people will not stand for these type actions.

Wrong hire and the stadium will be empty as hell. We won't show up for a **** show the next 3 years. I hope they understand what they are doing , because once they make the hire , it's on.

If LWS is right, it begs the question, which Haslam? I can't imagine Big Jim and Jimmy not being with Peyton on this one. Maybe Bill pulled the plug and convinced his dad and brother that UT and the State just couldn't afford it.

I have heard many times that Bill is not his dad or brother, which is the reason he is in politics and not involved in the company anymore, or so the rumors go.

I say this much after 3 time's that word has come from gruden 1-mike n mike, 2-his agent, and 3-espn breaking new's that gruden himself told UT no. I wish the vol's defense had the refuse to give up attitude some of you guy's have! We would atleast be 10-2 right now! Here's to hope all those no's don't mean no afterall
