Hinshaw may stay at WR's coach if Strong doesn't bring Tee. The guy they have over at Louisville is new. This is his 1st year coaching college ball. Hinshaw and Strong recruiting in FL would do just fine.

You guys have been waiting all day to bump my posts huh? haha that's fine.

I believe the boosters have the majority of say in a pivotal coaching hire like this, not a newly hired AD. That's just my opinlon. You might not agree, that's fine. Since I believe that...if Hart doesn't listen to the big money boosters and hires someone else he's putting his job in jeopardy. That's what I believe. You don't have to.

Agree

All the say? Really? Peyton Manning, Haslem, Ergen, Thornton and friends don't have any say? hmmm ok.

Ron, do you really think any well run athletic department would allow for the inmates(boosters) to run the asylum? I don't care if it is Peyton or anyone else. Hire an AD you think can do the job (we have) and trust him to do the job.

He still might be. Has Hart hired someone else already? I must have missed the presser.

Sounds like Skeet says we might have one tonight or this weekend.

Right now, I trust Skeet and LWS on this board and that's it.

Also, my posts probably sound worse than I intend them to. Not meaning to pick at you or get personal.

I'm just trying to poke holes in this notion out there that this is all Harts fault. I'm a big believer that Gruden never truly wanted this job. He is an nfl guy.

I don't think Hinshaw is that great of a WR coach. He can recruit, but we upgrade that spot, IMO.

Headed to paint the rock rt now this is bulls**t VN I will not let Dave Freakin Hart screw this up without everyone knowing unrighteous man needs to go back to bummer where he came from..... step away hart and let big $$$$ secure the deal!!!

First of all, since when is UT a well run athletic department. And calling Haslem, Ergen, Thornton and PM "inmates" is absurd. No, trusting a guy who's been on the job just over a year to make arguable the biggest hire in UT's history isn't what elite FB programs do. IMO

Gruden wants to be in the nfl from what i am hearing. He would consider coaching here if nothing in the nfl caught his eye, even then he may decide to stay put. Hart will not wait on him and he shouldnt. The more i hear about Gruden the more i dislike him. Yes his name would draw big name recruits, yes he would inject electricity in to the fan base and the program, but at the end of the day the man is still unproven as a college football coach. He is known as a workaholic that really works his players with a very complex offensive scheme. Here or any other college he would have to adhere to the 20 hour rule.

I guess all the Gruden lovers want hart to sit around and wait on ole Jon to make up his mind, then come january when he says no thx we're really screwed.

Im not for sure what happened with Gruden, but i wouldnt be surprised if Hart let his agent or someone know that he needed a decision no later than the first week of december. We have heard very little on Gruden in the ad, like i said i dont know what happened and really dont care at this point.

See, that's where we disagree so anything else won't matter in our discussions. I believe the OG's and their posts the last couple months. I believe a handful of boosters led the charge and got Gruden and hand delivered him to Hart. I believe Gruden wants the job. You don't believe those things so naturally we're going to disagree greatly on this issue.

Ok, first of all, since hiring Hart we are trying to be a well run AD. Inmates was an expression, but if you think Mal Moore isn't running things his way you're nuts. If you don't trust Hart to do the hire, even though Skeeter has said it is all Hart's power, then you don't hire the man.

Let me put it this way, if I had to pick between Hinshaw and Louisville's WR coach... Hinshaw all day and twice on Sunday. That's one of the benefits if UT gets Fedora. He will bring Gunter Brewer. Great coach and solid recruiter.

SN: I think Tee will give interest into the position at UT now.

If the boosters had as much say as some believe, Cheek and Martins bags would already be packed and they would be out the door. Then we could get about whoever we wanted.

Boom the Ron is in the house and has very legitimate info. Gruden or bust!! Hart betta put up or shut up

Wish we could somehow get Marion Hobby on the next staff also. Would love to see Hobby, Tee, & Graham on the recruiting trail for Tennessee.

What elite coach isn't an egomaniac?

I would venture a guess at Dungy, Cowher, Mike Smith doesn't seem like one either...Les Miles either. I don't know them personally, but those are just a few examples right off the top of my head that don't seem like egomaniacs.
