I got a strange feeling that too much info got out a little to quickly for the Gruden camp for whatever reason. Not sure it's dead, maybe dormat, not dead. I honestly think its going to be played out that Hart later meets with Gruden and makes a deal and it makes Fart, I mean Hart, Look like a hero..... Then again, I thought we would win the East this year, so wtf knows. IMO, he becomes our coach around the middle of December.... Not sure why, but I'll be proved wrong when we hire someone different.

I kinda' wonder if Gruden had such high initial demands that he figured no college would ever meet his requirements and then somehow UTK stepped up to the plate and put him in scramble mode. I'm all over the map on this. I don't want it to be over but I don't see much hope left.

After today, I remember a few weeks ago reading tony b blog. Something stuck out to me when reading it. He said the big money is controlling this, don't be surprised if hart steps in and stops it. Now I'm not sure if that's what happened, but it sure seems fishy too me.

While I'm in the boxing business, I have been involved in these type deals many times as well. Maybe its apples to oranges, but the statements from Lamonte and Gruden do not feel familiar to me at all. I don't think they want any part of this.

Fast forward some and after many more talks a deal is agreed upon and an MOU is signed agreeing upon the terms needed for Gruden to coach at UT. These meetings were between Gruden and the boosters and no one else. The boosters take this to Hart and tell him who they want and what is needed.

That is the gist of it. Believe it or not but jay and OV can back me up on that. This all happened and is 100% fact.

If true then Lamonte's thing is either:

1. A hard push back toward UTAD, ramps up pressure from the boosters that put it together, aka we will have you removed if you do not play along

or

2. We can't believe you are this stupid, and we are actually no longer interested.

I'm going with #1.

I can believe everything in that post but that doesn't get us to where we are right this moment in time. What happened between when your story ends and now is what I'm interested in.

Yes. Without inside info and based on the media reports yes it could still happen. Probably won't but it could.
