I just don't believe the boosters and Hart are at odds all of the sudden. I really don't care about all the gruden "insiders", it made things interesting lol. I really hope we land Strong, I just think he would be a great fit here. I've heard how Bridgewater bailed him out this year, but isn't that the point? Recruit guys who are gamechangers.

Someone mentioned earlier (I think it was HG, but not sure) that Bedford and Strong were kind of tied together. Meaning if Strong came Bedford likely comes with him.

I'm not a strong fan. I've said this a bunch. Strong was passed over TWICE by Florida to be their head coach and the second time another first time coach former DC was hired over him. I don't want what wasn't good enough for Florida.

He'd recruit them, I'm sure.

And I think Worley or Peterman do just fine, especially Peterman. Plus Riley Ferguson, I'd like to see Woulard too.

didnt know that - ty for info

on the plus side i really dont see any way our defense could be worse than it was this year - so at least the new coach will have a low bar for defense

Is the ultimate goal for any college coach not to win a NC? Strong most likely will not ever reach that level at UL, especially if they don't leave the Big East anytime in the near future. Even then, he will have to adjust to the new conference in many ways.

Strong will leave UL at some point. I just hope it's now. No shame in making the announcement and coaching his last game. UL fans definitely won't like it, but it's a business. But then, we don't even know the real timetable for the new coaching announcement.

Strong would get the attention of Ramsey, Hatcher, White, Quick and Bell immediately. I'm with Lynx. All in for Chuck Strong.

if he was hired i think he could of done a good job

i woulnt of had a problem with it nor did i with muschamp

I like Fedora and Strong. I've seen UNC play this year, and it is obvious that they are well coached. However, I'm not familiar with his recruiting abilities.
