You ranking teams or programs? I would think with the facilities and the oppty to compete in the SEC, Tennessee would be in the mix.

But but but but they denied it. Lol just trying to make the point that denial is part of it. They never say, yea Mike and Mike at the butt crack of dawn morning show, I am leaving ESPN and taking the UT job. They almost always say no, no truth to it, maybe I should tell my family (lol), just trying to keep the job I got, plan to be here a long time a day or two before being announced lol.

Like I said his answers actually boost my confidence this is very real and very very likely.

This moakes no sense. Coordinators move UP to head coaching positions because that is their goal from the beginning--to be the head coach someday. It is a promotion.

Now, it is surprising that the DC is going with Stoops, but they might be really good friends.

I dont know if this has been brought up already, but the knox news article says his buyout with tampa goes through early or mid december. If that is the hangup then will we likely be waiting until mid december for answers?

VN is a special place with some real special people. If we hire someone else that's great (say, Gary Patterson) and people are upset then it's their own damn fault, not Hart's.

I don't think that Gruden is going to tell he's coming to the VOLS on the Mike/MIke show. He did seem annoyed. I remember when Urban and Saban both lied and they ended up at Ohio State/Bama.

Can't help it though, in the back of my mind, I think that it might be Jimbo Fisher.

When you isolate it to just the OC and DC yes, but when you factor in the rumblings that Fisher is unhappy then it starts to make sense.

So this Gruden stuff doesn't stop until we hire a new coach. I'd love to have Gruden but it aint happening. I know that could just be "Saban Speak" but I'm excited to just move on from the whole Gruden stuff.

wait, based on what? if its based on cash flow... you can knock about half those names off the list. Where do these people come from, and how do they just make stuff up? Tennessee, if it werent for the revenue sharing part of its agreement back to the university, would be a borderline small/midcap company big guy!!!! Stadium revenue, licensing, the fan base... (A WHOLE STATE/REGION THEY OWN WITH DEMOGRAPHICS RAPIDLY IMPROVING OVER MOST OF THAT LIST)

God, I hate when people just pull stuff out of their .... ! to the guy who replied to you GV - my question - - in your day job do you just make stuff up?????

How would calkins of the memphis commercial appeal get this 1st? He used to live on my street and hates UT. He did attend Harvard, so his is definitely not an idiot. Only trust what UT officially reports
