A buddy of mine just walked in to class and said he was crossing the torchbearer when a tan Yukon stopped to let him by. He looked in to wave thanks and says it was gruden. He also has a pic of the license plate that is from south Florida and a bucs trailer hitch. Swears up and down it was him. I know it's another one of "these" posts but that's a lot of circumstantial evidence. Thought it was interesting nonetheless and I'd pass it on.

Now that #Gruden's agent is in negotiations with #Tennessee, no other coach in their right mind would come here. #NeverFillGrudensShoes

Not going to say he was "good," but his play calling gets a bad reputation. Lane Kiffin was a great play caller. Fulmer was decent in the Majors era.
I respectfully disagree. While he may be well-thought of in the industry and could probably do well, a big splash is needed. To me it would be more of a falldown, last resort hire.
Reading what some recruits have said about the state of our recruiting burns me up. The fact that Dolly Dooley came off as arrogant and had little contact with top recruits absolutely pisses me off.
We need a name to get recruiting back on par and above others in the SEC and nationally. Better talent is easier to scheme than sub-par talent, its just that simple. Big name=big recruits.
Golden may be cool and all, but our recruiting will continue to suffer for a couple of years, minimum.
I'm tired of us being the laughing stock of the SEC. A Golden hire would further solidify that.
