Plugged in to ESPN, Knox, and UT. Worked with college football on ESPN, has contacts. Makes sense to me. UT has ties to 2 ESPN guys (not Woody Paige btw), so I have wondered if Punch was a source for somebody. Has to be Gruden is what he said is true, jmo

I have thought, for the past few years, that Dallas will continue to fall short of their aspirations as long as Tony Romo is the starting QB. IMHO, his talent level is as a good backup. They really need to bring in a Marquee QB prospect. I don't think there will be a mad rush on QB's this year, but there will be some good prospects. Even Bray, if he comes out. Will have to be coached up, though. He's not a proven clutch player yet.

now that I think about it, if he was on the UT student sideline towards the end of that Aub/Tn game @ '89 or so that they tied late when down 16, my memory may be a first hand flashback.
Anybody else at that game as a student and remember anything remotely close to what I am remembering?

What time did Punch say all this? I was gonna listen back on sports talk's daily playback after 7 or 8 pm when it updates.

Thanks, my father called to tell me this. I remembr his show and enjoyed it but was unsure about his credibility when speaking of UT Football.
