This has been discussed before. Dooley was hired four days after Kiffin left for USC. Does not apply to this job. Do you think the asst. coaches jobs are posted for 14 days?

Also the Rooney rule only applies to the NFL.

The ONLY thing that I PERSONALLY have heard Gruden say about UT was during an interview on the animal with John and Jimmy during the spring football camp and he absolutely sounded like he was campaigning for the UT job. That is the one and only thing that ANYONE can link to him about him liking this job or even remotely wanting to be here. Everyone has a lot to say about Chucky, but Chucky isn't saying anything himself.

maybe not, but who knows. If we are at 1.9 million only in reserves, you can spend 10% of that with one week of visits when all is said and done and I don't think the academic side is giving us back 6 mil this year to toss around at a cover up or show. Just not sure it would be worth the time and money.

I will say this after being at work all day, those I depend on to get my information are still very solid and something happened a little while ago. They were all talking about it while I was on a call then went into a meeting. I overheard something about "tomorrow" and an announcement but do not know the context or who they heard that from. Those I work for do not get hung up in the rumor mill and none of them even know what VN is. They are where I draw my confidence from, this board only reinforces it.

Hope to have something soon.

Didnt Kiffin ask Hamilton to go interview other candidates to make sure he was the right hire? I think thats what was said.

If it is true about Gruden being high on the way things are handled, isnt it possible he ga said the same?
I know im reaching but allows for discussion during this slow time
