17 wouldn't make sense to me because it starts a recruiting dead period...IMO you would want to start recruiting asap.

Very realistic I think. We can't just keep saying smokescreen while a new coach that isn't Jon Gruden is standing at the podium. I'm still a believer and your 70 percent is still a good shot!

Boro has no clue! Get this through your heads people. He wiffed on the 48 hour statement. Then a few days later he said it could be at a later date to cover his arse!! He gets his info from the OG's. He also said Clay Travis knows and Erin Andrews has a source when in fact Erin said she has no real inside info on the situation and to not quote her. And if anyone thinks that dick head Clay Travis has a source then they have brain damage. If you're gonna hang on anyone's nuts in this thread then swing on the OG's. I trust their knowledge the most. Gruden!!

The logic is if you get GRUDEN the dead period is insignificant and that would be true if you do land GRUDEN. He's the mother of all magnets for 5* recruits.
I think we can all agree on that part.

As tight lipped as this has been...I would say maybe 5 people max know exactly whats going on. 1 would be Hart and others biggest Boosters. They have done a dang good job keeping info on lockdown last few weeks. I don't think anyone on a radio show knows for sure. JMO though

The dates have been all over the place, not even the "OGs" have really pinned an exact date, other than speculating.

I'm not convinced Gruden is in or out (not that it matters what I think). However, Boro has always been level headed and though he "missed" on that 48 hour thing he only brings what he hears to the board...much like media goofballs bring what they hear to the airwaves. He's just a solid Vol fan trying to join this conversation with info he's been given..

Dispelling his contributions is a shame I think...I like the guys input. If he's totally off he's openly said he'll take his lumps..

Guys... the contract dispute with Gruden is whether there is a "Woo" or no"Woo" in Rocky Top. I have heard directly from Haslam that he is a WOO guy, and Gruden said absolutely no WOO.

Spring, OCI, and slice were the OG of OG's. I really don't know what to make of Boro. People look up to him bc he's been posting a lot on this thread here lately. While the real OG's just come here to drop a little knowledge or new info if there is any and then they bounce. Just like they have always done.
