Most of the time I feel the exact same way. The simplest answer is usually the correct one.

But sometimes I have to have hope that my feeling is wrong.

I like Petrino as a coach in principle...but with his history and the situation they're in right now, the combo of the two would be combustible, to say the least. We could witness the complete disintegration of a program

Petrino personalty scares me, as he could be just one bike ride away from another complete mess.

I am not sure. I think a couple of the "drive-by" posters said Monday, and Leroy Snot insists it is Tuesday.

Everybody else is leaning towards Friday.

I myself would actually be surprised if it was announced this week, no matter what.

Of course, I would absolutely love to be wrong about that.

I am totally ready to tell my coworkers tomorrow that we're announcing Gruden on Tuesday, according to Leroy Snot. Seems legit.

If gruden is the guy, agree it will not be one of the locals. The locals are in over their head on this coaching search. They appear to have zero sources or contacts.
