Hubbs statement was if it was a done deal then it should be announced so Gruden can be put on the road recruiting but the dead period does not end until the 30th. Still time IMO.

Agree. I think that there will be an announcement soon. Gotta let this season end first. I don't think anything was going to happen till after Kentucky game anyway. JMO

Nearly everyone on here has stated the 30th or before. If that date passes then hubbs story becomes much more believable than any change in timeframe.

Don't really blame him. He has a business to protect. If he dealt with rumors and was wrong, he would lose all credibility and therefore his business would suffer.

I don't blame him either but I like to get my info a little earlier even at the risk of it being wrong sometimes. I don't want a hard news man when it comes to sports. This is entertainment not nuclear proliferation.

More of the massive hit his draft stock took after Vandy imo. Every NFL scout knows he has the best arm in college football but the questions about his leadership, attitude, and game "Generalship" were all answered in front of the wrong people at Vandy and the answer wasn't good.

Before that game I would have put him in the top 2 QBs coming out of the combine, and things could change, but as of right now I am certain he will return.
