He said AND I QUOTE "If Gruden deal is done (and it's not)" meaning it's in the works.
So it's his fault we lost all those games? I thought it was Dooley that got fired.
The hubbs post in the cliff notes is interesting. Hubbs has said for awhile long shot. Now he is acknowledging deals in works. HMMMMMMMM. And BTW, if Gruden wants us to wait until January, we should.
See that is where I disagree. We all want Gruden here. It will be the perfect hire. However, if he does accept the job, then it shouldn't be January before he comes in and starts working. That is unfair to Tennessee in every sense. The fans, the players, the administration. This isn't all about him.
Look guy bray has the arm no doubt but he has got to focus on football he is the biggest partier yes he only cares bout drugs til gruden sets his head straight he's not goin to nfl he's goin to the bench... solve your question
Spending Thanksgiving weekend alone this year and stumbled across this board. Have to say, it's quite entertaining - a huge time suck, but entertaining nonetheless. No sources, no interest in trolling, and don't particularly care if anyone agrees, but this Gruden thing is a lot like the Peyton to Denver thing for me. When the idea first surfaced it seemed too good to be true, but the more it was discussed, the more it made sense, until one day, despite those who claimed to know better, I was convinced that it would happen because it felt right. I've learned to trust my instincts and, that's where I am now with Gruden - it's going to happen. Take it to the bank.
