If the job isn't posted now either i Have some crow to eat as I said it must be posted or hart is delaying it to buy time for some reason. I assume I am wrong about it have to be posted.

I didn't post that to make anyone eat crow. The football coach and his staff don't follow the hays scale either.

I don't know why folks have a problem saying the normal rules and procedures for hiring don't apply to the head coach of football or anybody he hires for that matter, until you get below the head strength and conditioning coach, maybe.

He's not said Gruden is off the table. But today he was talking about concerns UT boosters may have with investing that much money when some unnamed NFL people have raised some unnamed concerns about Gruden.

What if he has already told them? And they have Dilfer prepped and ready to go?

I don't see how tomorrows game would influence an announcement. If anything, it would bring a bigger crowd if it was announced.

To me it all makes sense. Correct me if I'm wrong, but has there been any solid evidence that Hart has conducted ANY interviews this week? Granted it was Thanksgiving week, but Hart even stated it himself that having a coach in place by December is critical. It would be hard for me to believe that he isn't going to start a true coach search until next week with only a few days left in November, not to mention recruiting starts soon. With how tight lipped the AD has been this week and no denial from either side, it makes more sense than Al Golden for Gods sake. Just my thoughts.

A joint press release that (1) Gruden is taking the UT job and (2) Dilfer is replacing Gruden on MNF could easily take care of that.

I am sure that Gruden has been coordinating his exit with ESPN to allow for a smooth transition.

I'm fairly certain that it would all be worked out, but on the outside it may not go over too well. Of course, Dilfer has to take over sooner or later.

We need to shoot together some time. I'm looking to stretch it on out to 5-600 yards.
