Look at my last post. I assure the person i spoke with has a part of the last two coaching searches. There isnt a search going on. I believe it is gruden, but he was told it was done whoever it is.

Right or wrong. The only ones that need to apologize is the mega-grudes.

These threads have been very entertaining and helped me personally deal with this sucky season.

Honestly I feel like I owe the og's some money for their time and information.

If it is REALLY over, then there's only one person it can be. Gruden. There's no way UCLA, UofL, OU, or any other university is going to grant UT permission to speak to their coach while the season is still ongoing. No way.

The only reason or their existence was to use "insider" about information to pull off a great troll and generate traffic for that new board. Gruden was never going to Arky and Arky didn't even offer him because they knew he wasn't at all interested in coaching there.

I would think only phone calls to agents would have taken place his week due to the season not being over. If those calls haven't been made then I agree it means gruden is done but saying since there have no in face talks that means no search is taking place isn't reality IMO.

Its the famous Duckmans board. From several nights ago, there was a guy on here saying they were trolling them from the beginning pretending to be in the know.

Not saying this how it happened in our case but, in the past I know when candidate X was the choice, agent of coach x will have some his other clients take the interview to meet requirement (if there are any) each university and college is different from state to state and then private schools have their own set of rules. Keep in mind these agents are sneaky and very good at their jobs, thats why they get paid the way they do.

I'm not questioning you because I have no clue, and will not pretend to. I'm just enjoying the ride, and hoping it's Gruden (even though I have my doubts. Not meaning to insult you or anyone else as I do think you guys believe what you are being told, I just don't know who its from. Maybe that would change my mind). But is there much Hart can do right now other than work the back channels? It would not look good to be speaking with another coach while the season is still going on for everyone.

I agree. This person also mentioned how surprising it would be if this isn't all over TV very soon.

They're required to contact four total coaches. We were told that these were the other 3.
