I have taken that into consideration and have said as much in prior posts that they may have an internal procedure, but I don't believe it would be a "requirement" for this type of position. If you want to think this job HAS to be posted and that JG and others have to apply and a certain number be interviewed you are welcome to. I do not.

Not trying to be a jerk here, but check your records to see if Cheek's job was posted. Check to see if the UT HC job was posted after the Kiffin fiasco..........

Posting statements like "absolutely false" sounds a little more confident than this post suggest you should be using.

Does anyone on here anywhere have any credible information that a single step HAS BEEN by the AD to initiate a coaching search now 6 days after Dooley is fired? Any "search rumors"? Even with no info considered this is very telling. The search is no search at all, but procedural steps to solidify what is already agreed upon.

I spoke with somebody in the ad today that would usually be part of a coaching search. He was told that the search was over but was not told any names. Like many other posters have said hart is not saying a word to anybody in the ad. I look forward to hearing who it is and i believe with all the other info out there it is gruden.

I had a nice thanksgiving dinner with a family member who is in the AD. It is over. I did not ask who because our family doesn't put that kind of pressure on this person. It is over. It is over. We will quickly find out who it is.

Actually, I have heard they have contacted Strong, Patterson and Golden through backchannels. I think it is a formality though. Stupid AD wont let us track his airplane anymore.
