Introducing him before the game would ensure a huge boost on ticket sales...and possibly prevent another gameday loss.

Since I know Andrews knows, they won't be able to keep the lid on it for long.

She works weekends with Eddie George on the Fox CFB show. Isn't sjt the poster on here who said Eddie George confirmed the Gruden deal to him some time ago?

Is she now saying that she didn't say this?

Almost verbatim what she said:

"I had dinner last night in Dallas with a guy who's connected to UT and to Gruden and I told him about my bet with [Clay Travis] and he said start practicing [rocky top]..."

For reference: She and Clay Travis made a bet on 3HL a few weeks ago that Gruden wound not/wound (respectively) be UT's next HC. He had to shave his head and she had to sing Rocky Top at her Christmas party and upload it to YouTube.

I'm just really skeptical cause the other coaching changes here recently. It's hard to ignore so much smoke tho.

According to tax returns, Weis didn't get any money from Notre Dame in 2011 when he coached at UF when they had it showed up in 2010. Maybe he can't get the money if he rejoins college football or it may just no show up. ND is tricky and there is really no way to confirm it either way.

Recruiting is about relationships, and we have the early enrolee signing period in less than a month which are going to involve some very good players and is loophole for signing over 25 in a year. There will be transfers and some will ask to leave so getting past the 25 will probably be crucial this year. JMO

Yeah , Cheeseburger Charlie got paid. I have little doubt about that. Look , Jon may decide he doesn't want free money. I'd be fine with that. But from what I have read , he is at the end of his buyout and wants the money. I'm not some "insider". It just makes sense.

As for recruiting , we will be fine. That is , if the right hire is made. If I didn't believe we had a shot with Gruden , I would be worried. The only thing that matters is the right coaching hire at this point. Also take into account the interview process. Jon has business to take care of , and so does Tennessee. There is really no way to rush this. Well , unless you are Mike Hamilton. You go hire a loser in less than 48 hours.
