I'm not trying to claim this negates Gruden coming here, sheesh.

Just saying, lets not proclaim a caller on a talk show as the messenger of God, just because he's telling you what you wanna hear.
We aren't just going by the caller. Haskew isn't a caller and posted just that and he's media.

Chris Price from Inside Tennessee just said on The Drive that Gruden probably is part of the conversation but not a real possibility. Maybe he wasnt that negative but thats pretty much what he said....I say we arrange an "accident".

Its not Egbert, its Ergen....the CEO of Dish Network, richest Coloradoan(sp?) and UT Alum and donor...worth about $9 BILLION...

and much thanks is given to these fine individuals...

I thought that too at first (a typo I assumed), but knew UT had an alum associated with Garmin. That person is Min Kao. Est. net worth of $1.5 bil. No record I can find of Egbert.

are you more stoked about Gruden or having your likes back? haha

Gruden as coach, likes reloaded, hand carved cherry oak desk, doctor for a wife, 2 sons with access to his VN account. What more could a man ask for?

On behalf of Vol fans everywhere, a sincere "Thank You" goes out to Anderson, Egbert, Campbell, Haslem, and Manning (the architects of the artesian well) for bringing much needed water (JG) to what has slowly become a baron waste land.

Who is that? I saw it in the cliff notes.

Probably a land baron, or make that a water baron.

That got past me... thanks... but I bet his seat is getting warm

Monte's seat may be getting real warm.

Everyone has to see this, lol;

Jimmy Hyams reporting that interim coach Jim Chaney will take the #Vols Head Coaching job if offered. @TonyBasilio @R3TSR1180 @JaysonSwain

Wouldn't we all, if it was offered?

I would have taken my dream job yes..... but I would have tried to leave with a little more respect for the position I had held for the past 13 months.

That has been my complaint about Kiffen all along... If I leave I give at least two weeks notice...maybe longer depending on the circumstance...So I guess that makes me childish

I hear you on the two weeks notice but the job of a college coach is much different than whatever it is that you and I do for a living. What good would it have done for Kiffin to turn in a two-weeks notice? It would have put us further behind in recruiting because he would have stayed right up until signing day then bolted...which would have been very dishonest to the recruits coming in...I don't like how Kiffin handled everything in the transition...some things I dislike...but over all I can't hold hard feelings toward the guy. I've been given "dream" opportunities and in accepting them have had to disappoint a few people in the process...there will always be some who don't like the fact that you left...so be it.

I'm sure he wouldn't say that just to get people to visit his site "for the real info"? HA!

Worley looked very confident with the offense. I think he's just the type of heady QB that Gruden would love.

Maybe so but everything thats been said about Peterman and his intelligence and leadership makes him a much better option to run Gruden's offense. His offense is not supposed to be easy to learn.

Thank goodness we have an air-tight backup plan in place.

The offense itself isn't hard to learn...

The lingo is difficult however.
