Thats what concerns me...we need a well oiled machine...not a cheap fix to save money while we keep our ears perked for strange noises going down the road.

I remember some questionable play calling under Kiffy, but maybe that was due to Kiffy calling them...

He might work out well, and Gruden may ***** slap him if he doesn't, but Id rather not risk any hiccups...and of course if Grudes is happy, I'll be happy.

One thing I do like about Chaney, which has nothing to do with his coaching ability, is that he has been loyal to us and our university. He came in with Kiffin and could've likely jumped ship over the last three years, but seems happy to be a part of this program. Just my 2 cents.

I don't mind Chaney if Gruden is sticking with his West Coast Style of offense. That seems to be where Chaney is comfortable.

As I continued reading I saw the cliff notes reference and checked them out. I went back to the post from OCI and saw what he said. He seems like he is well trusted on this site. Awesome news and hoping this is accurate, not saying I don't trust it.

That sounds about right. Believe it or not, Kiffin does have a soft spot for the university and the fans. He gets that he's hated here. He got the shot at his dream job and took it. He would not have left here for any other school. I hate how it went down so quickly and how he left us hanging out to dry, and I am not a fan of his antics while he was here, but I don't begrudge the man his dream.

Like I said, he seems like a great guy...I am impressed thusfar by his demeanor, but then again so did Dools, and we heard the rumors there...
