From Day One, I thought Dooley was a manager more than anything else and could only be successful if he had two strong coordinators. I was guess I was sort of correct, kind of.

Exactly. How you let a program like UT get to this point is mind boggling.

Sure, it's not reasonable to expect to win the SEC every year, but for god sakes man, we just got our ass handed to us by Vanderbilt.

Yeah Dools is getting paid but it doesnt change how he is gonna feel when his kids ask him "where we gonna go now daddy....". It isnt always about "you" jacka**....

He gave it a shot, it wasnt good enough...now bring on Gruden.

You said they were fos, I call that hating. Do I feel sorry for Dooleys kids? Yes. But that still doesn't change the fact that I don't feel sorry for him. And i didn't call you anything but thanks for showing your mature and calling me a jack$$

I don't think he is a good manager either. His organizational skills are way overblown.

You know what's weird? I am not that upset about just this particular game. I knew this was going to happen. Knew it weeks ago. I posted weeks ago that we were in real danger of losing 8 games for the first time ever. Most everybody told me I was crazy. :cray: Only good thing is our suffering is almost at an end. After next week is over we can probably say that it will never be this bad again. Maybe the team will be fired up enough next week to actually show up and play, since they will know they are going to get a better coaching staff. I almost think Bray and a few others threw this game on pupose.:cray:

101 % Gruden but be real... even if a coach is fired.. "I Will Give My All For Tennessee " ?? Players didn't step up against our biggest rival..Flame away but at some point do you have any personal pride ??... Disappointed by the effort..Go Vols !!

Well, that was the extent of how positive I could make myself when he was hired.

My other thought was that we had to provide him enough time to recruit us back to a full roster, no matter what, instead of the constant changeover, and then evaluate the on-field results in Year 3 and either extend or fire.
