Mods and ethics committee...please note that I am not intentionally soliciting my business. It is however a safe place for Volunteer fans to feel safe in a football dead town...except for the Broncos, and now Peyton Manning!!!

And please note that my football spirit still lives in Knoxville, where I went to school, and that I'm getting beat down even out here in Colorado...as Jim McElwain won't let me forget about the last decade of third Saturdays in October...and one of my regulars is a freakin Bama fan FROM TUSCALOOSA. I cant get away from it!!!

You need to have loop recording showing UT winning games over the Tide on the biggest TV in the place.

Says Gruden hasn't shot these rumors down and could if he wanted.

Continues hearing rumblings and they are registering with media.

Doesn't believe he has been on campus.

Dooley is gone.

I don't deal with coaching contracts either. It absolutely could have those provisions in there, we'll just never know. I can see why UT would want them, though, because it is potentially harmed by passing on other candidates by thinking a deal is in place.

Agree with this and would assume it applies to coaching as well. Don't want the other party to be able to leverage your offer in other negotiations.

Exactly. It seems like both sides would really want something in there to explicitly protect from that, again knowing that it is not necessarily binding, but certainly would be ethically questionable.

Also, since many coaches actually start coaching under MOUs and actually coach from some time with only an MOU in place, it seems that it is such an important part of the hiring cycle that it would be career suicide to breach it.

I lived there for a year and Alaska for 10. Jackson hole wins as the most beautiful but the tourists engulf the place in the summer its brutal. A town of 5,000 people getting one million visitors in 3 months is no bueno.

That's why I go in early June before the hordes arrive and all the snow melts. I am a hiker and animal watcher not a skier.

Good afternoon Grudenites. Am I to understand. That a major move has taken place today? I just got home from teaching all day. And yes I know about reading the cliff notes.

I asked last night but I think you had already left for the night. What school do you teach at? Newton? I grew up in Covington. Lived there for over 20 years.

One who is consumed with the thought of a Super Bowl winning coach coming to their team.
It was bestowed on a few if us who brought this info out early on in The Gruden Saga, when we were still being heavily ridiculed.for our position.
