there was a friend who was hiding the uga hat (did a bad job since a few analysts saw him hiding it) so it was no surprise even with the other 3 hats on the table.

yep what happened was because there was no uga hat on the table a few assumed it meant uga was not going to be picked so a few analyst tweeted that out.. a few other analysts saw the uga hat and that they were hiding.

I would like to thank Derek Dooley and his non existent coaching abilty for ruining this recruiting class. He has destroyed it to the point that Derrick Green is seriously considering Auburn over UT.

Ugh...I don't post much in the recruiting forum but I have a question about us not being able to recruit an elite RB. I know Graham is a great recruiter and i know the coaching situation is being played against us. If I were a 4* or 5* and I sat down with a parent or a HS coach and researched a Chaney led offense, I don't think Tennessee would be high on my list because of the way we use the RB. Is there anything to my way of thinking here. tia

I certainly see that and as I stated I'm sure the uncertainty with the situation is being used against us. In addition to knowing the coach was going to be around, would a recruit look at an offense and make a decision regarding how running backs are used in the offense? How many touches, what is the run/pass ratio etc...

Actually most running backs this year have seemed to really like our offense, unless they are lying in interviews. Of course right now we are selling them on being our main running back which would mean 20-25 carries a game, a passing game that really backs the defense back, and an elite offensive line.
