He hasn't been sacked because he isn't willing to take a hit. The intentional grounding against florida which is the biggest play of the year IMO is evidence of his unwillingness to shuffle away from pressure
Every single year teams make a run on QB's early in the first. Every year teams reach based on needs. Ex: Minnesota with Ponder, Denver with Tebow (*snicker*).
I would bet you anything Tyler would go in the first round. Don't agree that he should, but he would
Not even the most mobile QB's can get away from the kind of pressure Bray faced on that play. Example: watch Vick this year. He's the best running QB in the history of the game and he's near the top of the NFL in sacks because his O-Line is awful.

What quarterbacks will be taken before him? Who is entering this year, I seriously do not know.
Keep in mind the NFL looks for potential. Tyler's arm-strength, passing prowess, and pocket awareness are intangibles that make the NFL salivate all over themselves.
I think he is a late 1st early 2nd pick right now and should pad enough in these last 3 games + a possible bowl to solidify a late, possibly even middle 1st round.
<-----------FF thattaway...
So the meeting was a stroke and stuff session for the suits with no real merit or intent...?
Whats the scoop?
Waiting on someone to show up and say there will be another meeting about something else soon.
I don't think he should go in the first round, but based on potential I think he would.you really think he would go in the First round ( not being a smartarse ) either but when pressed this year against good teams he has looked like he needed to be benched. Yeah when he has played teams like troy he has looked like a first rounder but the NFL don't have Troy Teams. I would say late 2nd at best
I understand your logic, and with a smaller QB class such as after his senior year I would agree completely, but this year has a deep QB pool that is extremely top heavy.
Matt Barkley-USC
Colin Klein- KSU
Logan Thomas-Va. Tech
Tyler Wilson- Ark
Aaron Murray- UGA
Mike Glennon- NCSU
K. Price- UW
Landry Jones-Oklahoma
Seth Doege- TX Tech
Any of these guys could be argued as higher rated than Bray, I am probably forgetting some, but IMO Bray would be at best a late 3rd rounder...

There is a growing belief this is the time Jon Gruden finally returns to coaching.
Gruden will deny this as he is one of the great slicksters in the profession and his current employer, ESPN, might not know his true intentions. Yet sources around the sport, including several assistant coaches, say Gruden has been quietly asking some NFL assistants, hypothetically, that if he did come back, would they be interested in joining him.
It's unclear if Gruden is planning a college or NFL return but since, for the moment, it seems he's asking NFL assistants about their interest, the NFL is his likely destination.
Several sources say Gruden isn't making clear where he would like to coach. Howard Eskin of WIP radio in Philadelphia reported Gruden could be next coach of the Philadelphia Eagles. But sources say Gruden isn't disclosing any kind of wish list. In fact, he isn't disclosing much at all, other than this is possibly the year he makes his return.
The way sources portray the situation is that Gruden wants to be ready if and when teams begin to ask about his availability. If the right situation is available, these sources say, Gruden will have a skeleton staff ready and can move quickly. If the right situation does not appear, he would simply stay at ESPN until it did.

"I'm not much on the politics. the amendment that was on the agenda passed. I never did figure out what the actual words meant and the explanations I got never jived either.
what that means to me, in laymen terms, is that Dave Hart manages the funds coming in through the Tennessee Fund office with the university still having over sight. They have been having over sight for the last 18 months so that is not a change.
I'm guessing clairty was made via BOT approval on teh management aspect of those funds.
best I can do"
