The hopeful stubborn side of me wants to think that Ainge was laying down a smokescreen yesterday. He goes from talking Gruden to saying it is a no go. Now he seems to be pushing Cut this morning. That's like telling your sixteen year old that you really think you're going to buy him a Ferrari. Then when you go to get the car, you start trying to push the '84 Escort on the kid. How is that kid going to react? I think the fans will react the same way. Outrage.
Wishful thinking on my part?
Probably.

I can respect your position. Others weigh possibilities based on what they know or don't. It'll all come out in the wash.
:hi:
Agreed. Trying to not sound negative lol, just not a lot to post. The thought that CJG knows he is coming back next year scares the hell out of me, because that means Dooley is back. I couldn't handle that. Would be like the baseball strike for me. I can still name the Braves lineups from the early-mid 90s but have not watched one game since the strike. Another year of Dooley would do the same thing for me and I hate it. UT football used to mean so much to me. Decades of games, Vol Navy, and the best experiences of my life. I still love the Vols but am so over the acceptance of mediocrity and my only TRUE hope for the rest of this season is that it ends with Dooleys firing. Before would be better.
