He was just saying that Gruden wants to be in the NFL, and that he is only giving the Gruden deal a 5% chance of happening. But he has been saying that the whole time. He was behind with his info when all the Gruden smoke began showing itself a couple weeks ago, so he seems like he may be out of the loop on this one.

One thing I can say, based on the current state of UT football, the guy who does turn it around will be given God like stature in Vol Nation. I for one hope in a couple years about fifty thousand babies have the middle name Gruden in Tennessee. As bad as it is now I have to believe eventually we'll turn it around and the face of that turnaround will never buy another drink in his life.

I assume it has to do with the Board Of Trustees meeting this week. One of the things they are voting on is whether to keep the AD dept under the administration, or separate the two, where the AD has the sole decision making for their department w/o requiring approval from Cheek. That is my understanding.

Ok who should we believe? SBV solid on gruden to TN, Other hand LWS "Smoke" says gruden's NFL bound. Who has the best sources?

Doesn't sound like an easy split, thus what is the likelihood that if it does get approved this week, that things would be in place to make a major financial move in the next month? Doesn't seem realistic.

We had tens of thousands of empty seats this weekend and people are trying to say Hart isn't on board with a change? NO NO NO! I don't believe it. He would have to be insane or an idiot and nothing in his history suggests either one. Then Tony B. gets a text during his show that Gruden is a no go. Who wanted that info out over the air right then? I'm feeling a Machiavellian conspiracy going on. Then the BOT comes up in coversation. Could it be that the powers that be are going to use Gruden as leverage to get votes?

Everything still looks like a green light. Don't be scared.

If you go into a movie knowing the ending, you don't get as scared with the plot twists. The people who are confused right now aren't aware of the resolution. They will find out in due time. All will make sense eventually.
