Anybody that can put a good defense on the field. If Gruden gets the job I don't see how that helps the D any more than just getting a really good D cord for Dooley. I think Charlie Strong would probably be my choice.

I concur with the Strong supporters. If we can`t get Gruden,let`s get Strong. I think it would be great to have a black coach at UT. I hope we wear black&camo a few games to generate more excitement 4 recruits.

We need more than just a defense. We need a leader. We need someone that demands perfection. We need a better recruiter. Dooley is none of the above

Giving Dooley more time would be like handing a loaded gun to a hitman and telling him not to shoot anyone, it is a losing proposition.

Pretty sure that we just need a good defensive coordinator. This same group of kids ranked 31st last year. If we were anywhere near that we would be a really good team.

Ainge just reported that his sources say Gruden is not coming wow he has been big on Gruden being here

The only way we attract a decent DC at this point is to give Dooley an extension and I don't think that's good business. Or, we could just offer Kirby Smart $4 mill/yr to be DC and save $$$ and continue our transition to Bama east.
