I saw it was on tonight again and thought about watching just for lulz. Decided that washing dishes would be more entertaining.

I love Phil, but no way would he make a good AD. I would love to see him around the program in some capacity, but not in the final decision making process of any kind. The game passed him by. His friendships and loyalties did him in. And for the record I jump on people that make "Phil" jokes. Those posters are garbage in my eyes. Just telling you my opinion.

Gruden is NOT coming!!!!!!!!!!!!!! POINT.BLANK.PERIOD. We need to get over it. Why would he? He's making millions where he's at. Don't you think that's about the last thing he would want to do? Really, look at us. We got rid of a 70% winning coach for a cheater like Kiffen and then we finally get a coach like Dooley who is unproven and expect him to win with the garbage he was left to sift through to make a team!!!!!! COME ON !!!!!!!! The last thing we need is to get rid of Dooley after 3 seasons. Ya know... Johnny Majors lost 23 games in his first 4 years as coach. It's going to take time. We are so far down we are going to be rebuilding for years. Look at Spurrier at SC it's took him years to fix that program. We need to stick with Dooley at least a couple more seasons before we make the Head Coaching job a revolving door and become a Vanderbilt or Kentucky for ever. Fulmer spioled us,we need to wake up and be patient with Dooley.. HE CAN DOO IT!!!! GOD BLESS ALL. Thanks for reading.

Well put. I think AD's are usually the most unpopular people on campus when times are tough. I wouldn't like seeing Fulmer trashed in yet another capacity if times got rough.

I'm resigned to the fact Gruden isn't coming. I realize what some in ths thread have said, but this feels like Randy Shannon all over again.

I'm holding out hope that Dooley is at least fired. That would be a positive sign, but only temporary if they don't hire someone high-profile.

I think I'm sadly reaching the point of indifference. If things continue, then there's little hope. And it's not healthy to follow Tenn and come away depressed every week.

So I hope a move is made. I love the Vols but can't stomach more of this.

Where have you stood on this recently? Were you a believer and now losing faith, or were you skeptical and remain that way?

South Carolina was nothin before spurrier.... And Dooley has lost more games in 3 years in the SEC Than we did during the ENITRE 90's..... Oh and one more thing. We fired majors after 3 losses to hire fulmer who won a TITLE... We fired him (who is a legend) after a similar two seasons that Dooley is having after 3. Dooley couldn't hold these guys jock strap. We haven't gotten better at all!!! The players gave up on this guy so i have too... Sorry man read between the lines
