It is people like you that give the Republican Party (and the South as a whole) a bad name. You are so ignorant I can't even describe it. It infuriates me that people this utterly, indescribably ignorant are even allowed to own a computer. If you think this is Communism, move to North Korea. Of course, that's impossible (unfortunately). But you'd be better off there, where you wouldn't be allowed to spew your pathetic garbage all over the rest of us.

Yes, I'm a Democrat. Yes, I'm a liberal. No, I am not crazy. and, most importantly, NO, I do not support President Obama. I don't approve one bit of the job he's done. Guess we're not all the same, huh? Idiot.

The fact that you think Fox news is a counterweight shows how little you really know. Fox is further to the right than Japan is on a map. Fox has about the same amount of credibility you do. ZERO. You are just a typical southern redneck who believes everything Fox News tells you like it's from the Bible.

Why do you not approve of the job Obama has done? Not socialist enough for you?

Oh, and I love how you accuse him of being an Obama supporter based solely on the fact that he still likes Dooley. Just another way in which you are showing us all that we should totally disregard your incredibly ignorant drivel.

Newsflash: the two are completely unrelated. COMPLETELY. Your accusations are baseless and pathetic. I'm a liberal and I happen to be as anti-Dooley and pro-Gruden as anyone on this board.

Wow, so not all liberals are Dooley supporters. Who would have thought? Amazing how that goes against your completely made up correlation, isn't it? That's because your correlation is GARBAGE.

Hahahahahahaha. You too, huh? Jeez. The ignorance around here is amazing. So it's not just one guy.

Liberal and socialist aren't the same thing. Anybody who actually does a little research (real research) and keeps just the SLIGHTEST BIT of an open mind knows that. Clearly you have done neither of those things.

I am a liberal, yes. But I am not a socialist. NOR IS OBAMA. The fact that people actually associate Democrats/liberals with socialism is laughable to me.

Are you a racist? I mean, you don't like Obama after all. Is that why? Not a fair question/accusation, right? Well, it's the same damn thing.

To answer your question, I don't like Obama because I see that the economy hasn't improved since he took over and his foreign policy is absolutely terrible. Oh, and I'm pro-life. Yes, pro-life Democrats do exist. How about that. I'm sure you're shocked. Try to handle it as best you can.

I saw Jim Haslam Sr. at the Dailey and Vincent bluegrass concert at Maryville college tonight. I worked up the nerve to go up to him and ask about the JG situation. I just came out and said, "Are we going to get Gruden?" He responded with a laugh that lasted about 30 seconds. I then said, "I guess that means NO." He said, "No one knows, but remember one thing. The season is not over yet. Just remember that. The season is not over yet." I am not really sure if we can read into it or not, but I thought that was a very interesting response. BTW, he was a VERY nice gentleman!

LIAR! He paid you off to keep your mouth shut after he revealed gruden has already bought a home in my west knox subdivision and is working out the contract as we speak.

So, Dooley = Marxism?

Do you even know what Marxism is?

And how does supporting Dooley have anything to do with PBO?

This.

Back on topic...it's humanly impossible to laugh for 30 seconds...your head would explode

Oh shut up and gtfo

Dooley is a good coach.

Maybe he isnt SEC good

But he is a good coach.

Im sick of people calling him names and saying he cant coach.

95% of coaches today would crumble with our schedule year end and year out.

1-7 and 0-5 crumbling as you call it. your definition of success is beating the sister's of the poor. To most of us Dooley and our program are a joke.

Dooley supporters will never provide evidence that he is a good coach. And when you provide historically significant statistical evidence that he isn't, they don't even try to respond to it. They can't. They'd rather live in some fantasy land where it is all part of the process.

The fact is Dooley is presiding over the worst three years in the history of Tennessee football. Three years in a row he has started conference play 0-5. Vandy is the only other team to accomplish that feat of failure. We can go on and on with statistics to show that Dooley has been nothing but a career loser.

Why do you guys want Dooley to stick around? We could and should do so much better.

You should start a fund today and donate money to hire a new coach instead of expecting someone else to do it for you.

Typical response. Skirts the issue. Provide evidence Dooley can coach. We are waiting.

You should know that CDD still has a chance of a signature win or 2 this year........:eek:lol:

He could get lucky and beat Kentucky and Vandy both this year... May be able to do it without even going to overtime too, I doubt it but anything is possible ...:good!:

I wouldn't count Troy as a sig win (even though some on here will)... Surely we can beat them by 45 points (sarcasm)....

I wonder how much they will add on to the actual attendance numbers for Troy to make it sound good... Homecoming won't even be anywhere near a sell out...almost unbelievable...

Still can't believe that we so low that we are left with hoping to beat Troy, Kentucky and Vandy to make it to a bowl game after 3 years...

I actually remember a time when it meant something to be a big orange fan and people respected our team.

Welcome to the bottom feeders of SEC football... Looks like we will be here for awhile if CDD hangs on..:cray:

I would have asked big Jim a 2nd question....

Are you going to start a fund to get our players a new dorm building as soon as possible so the players 40 year old living quarters don't make Tennessee look so horrid to our recruits and their parents?

I'd love to hear his reply to that since it's a urgently needed priority and he could have his name on it.

On the politics side of this thread...Anyone that thinks barak oDUMBa isn't a socialist is delusionan and his record proves it since his government takeover of most everything is as borderline Communist as it can get.

FYI...FOX news is controlled and run by Rupert Murdoch who's a die hard Liberal Socialist and he donates many Millions of $$$$ to the DEMONcrap party every year and over 1/2 the people that work at FOX or are paid talking heads on all their shows are Liberal Socialists as well so factually you hear both sides of a issue most of the time.

Hannity is as close to a real Conservative as you'll find on FOX but he always has Socialist people on most every segment of his show to spin their side of everything.

VFL...GBO!!!

I would have followed that laugh with a straight face, and replied, "Well, I think we all hoped Coach Dooley would pan out, but it's time for Tennessee to get this Head Coaching situation fixed and ASAP.

After all, the Head Coaching position is the motor that drives the vehicle for the entire Athletic Department. If the engine's not humming, nothing's moving. And that's exactly where we are right now. Going nowhere."

Followed by 80 sec of laughter.

Followed by 80 sec of laughter.

I guess I was wrong for sure then... I thought the HC of the football team was the main driver of the vehicle for 90% of UT athletic finances..

I thought football paid for most of the other sports... Hard to pay for anything if revenue is low due to empty seats..

Why are the seats empty? The team isn't competing very well and/or winning.... We are getting kicked around even though CDD said we wouldn't be...

Why is the team not winning/competing very well? I personally think it is due to the coaching, but other will have to decide that answer for themselves...

He is laughing at you because the Gruden rumors are complete bs and always have been. Of course he would listen if we were to offer 5 million a year, who wouldn't, we aren't and he won't.

It's because we have a very narrow view and most don't really get it. Makes me laugh sometimes too.

The whole "process" and not worrying about "exciting the fan base" died with SportsCenter and the 24 Hour News Cycle. The days of a coach getting five years to turn around are long gone. Today's sports culture simply doesn't let you get away with it anymore, which is why some brilliant football minds like Fulmer, Tiller, and now, Tedford are washed away. It's not simply about x's and o's anymore.

Results matter, and concrete changes need to be seen, not pontificated.

If this were 1977, Dooley would get his two years. It isn't, and Tennessee sinks into irrelevance among the sports media.

That's a problem in an era where every top recruit is media-savvy and cognizant of what a school's media standing is.

I think at Western KY, Troy, or La Tech you do get 5 yearsto turn a program around but not at a big program like UT. Dooley has done nothing to prove he is capable of turning the program around and is currently letting us fall further behind with his recruiting.

Ask yourself this question would Florida,Alabama, Auburn or Georgia tolerate the last 3 years we have had?
