I know it might not make me a real or true fan but if Dooley is indeed back next year I won't be traveling to Knoxville to games.

I'm not spending the cheese to go and watch us get beat

People will say you're not a fan, but I say that is the only way to voice your displeasure with a situation if you are not a booster.

Ok-on mobile so not easy to read through all the pages today!

All 50k posts read on mobile. My eyes are bleeding. But my heart is joyful. May be able to get on desk top tomorrow and introduce myself, as I am new, so I can up the sarcasm. Opportunity is abundant. GBO.

You are a true fan because going and watching UT not be the best they can be is too painful. There are some (NOT ALL) that go over there and can continue to go blindly that don't really care if we win or lose. It is more social for them.

Congrats. My little girl is 4, and I am having a hard time dealing with 5 and school on the way.

We all say we want boys to wear the orange - and we do. But man, little girls own their daddy's hearts big time. My advice is to love and help her with all you got and keep a Glock nearby for later. You will know when the right one comes along to share her with.

This conversation has certainly come up with friends and family. I got talked into another trip the weekend of the Mississippi State game, and I am only 2.5 hours away. The people who talked me out of it were...all UT fans.

It is an emotional and financial investment, and I believe you can still be a fan and understand that your resources can be put into other things. That is why a move is a no-brainer. The fan base would be re-energized, and people would come like crazy.

Could you imagine a Gruden-led team in Eugene next year? Some people will make the trip because it's different, but I guarantee you that with Gruden, people will want to go. Our fans travel well...I have been to alot of away games. Now, if we can get back to being relevant again.

Well it's a beautiful day in Middle Tennessee today but here I am, continuing to be tortured by this thread. haha

The vibe in here sucks now...

Damn you cliff notes thread. Damn you Dave Hart.

Anything new besides what's in the cliff notes thread?

We should all email as opposing fans telling him to keep Dooley

Dear Dr. Cheek:

Thank you. As a fellow member of Gator nation, I can't tell you how thankful we are that you are fighting to retain Derek Dooley in the UT HFC position. Excellent work, sir!

Funny you say that. My daughter wanted to walk around the neighborhood last night with a boy she goes to school with. I gave the usual rules and what time to be back and got the I know daddy. I told her if he's not good he better be able to run faster than 1500 ft per second cause that's how fast the bullet chasing him will be traveling.
