What I don't like about Rucker is his cocky attitude. Compare him to Hubbs. Hubbs doesn't have an attitude at all, he just reports the facts as he gets them.

Ever watch the videos of media sessions UT posts? Rucker is always in the background looking around like he has something better to do than interview someone. Most of the time he just sticks his recorder in the crowd and then looks the other way. Doesn't even have the decency to look at the person while they're talking.

This. I live in Memphis with two young kids, and I make at least one game a year (usually just one). I came to the Florida game this year, and it was fantastic. I also realized how much merchadise is sold at BIG games. My brother and I went to several different locations for merchadise, and people were buying...alot. When you are down in attendance, these people aren't there. It multiplies. The last time I made it to Knoxville for more than one game was Kiffin's year- we actually won some games. I would do that if we got a big time coach and won games.

I wonder if there is a power struggle in the UT administration right now, and that is why the Cheek info has been leaked to the press.

Think about it. Maybe Cheek did offer some resistance for Dooley. It pissed off the big donors. The big donors leaked it to turn public opinion against Cheek. Cheek gets fired and everybody cheers.

I know it might not make me a real or true fan but if Dooley is indeed back next year I won't be traveling to Knoxville to games.

I'm not spending the cheese to go and watch us get beat
