Copy and Paste special of the morning...

“Two sources very close to the Tennessee program have told MrSEC.com that Dooley actually discussed a buyout with Hart and Tennessee after last season’s loss to Kentucky. A third source further confirmed that story yesterday.
Knowing that his team quit on him versus UK and that fan negativity was growing, Dooley — as the story goes — approached the school and offered to just hit the road if they’d give him his buyout. Tennessee officials reportedly told him they would not buy him out for $5 million since he was the guy asking out. Dooley wouldn’t negotiate down the buyout, UT tried to call his bluff by not offering contract extensions to his assistants, but Dooley stuck it out anyway, hired new seven assistants — who had to be given multi-year contracts anyway — and tried to fix his program.

This is about 3 weeks old.

I wouldn't mind seeing Chavis back at DC we have seen what he can do with A Def. when given studs recruits, that's what he has had at LSU. If Gruden brings in top talent like we think he will then I see no one better to run it. jmo

somebody help me here. who is the poster that bombs constantly on Gruden, bearbryant? either way, i would like to watch a conversation between you and him.

I've read what he wrote and just sat back and CHUCKled. I tend to avoid football conversations with "fans" like that.

There are two types of fans... those that are fans of a team and spout whatever appears to justify where their team is/was/has been, and those that favor a team, but are true fans of the game itself with an understanding of all that entails.

Consider:

1. New Football Training Complex
2. New Staff energized under new Head Coach
3. Current Players re-energized under new Head Coach
4. Neyland Stadium (100,000+ fans)
5. Head Football Coach Jon Gruden

A lot of recruits would want a piece of that.

I bet Dooley is pissed he won't get to play with his new Thunderdome.

From what I am being told, with the staff Gruden is assembling to bring with him to UT, LexVol could be the head coach and we would be landing top-5 classes.

so you are basically in 1 of 2 camps:
morons who can't see the forest for the trees
and intelligent people who can actually see the problem
with the team or scheme without blind allegiance...

got it...:good!:

Does anyone have a means to check to see if Jon/Cindy have put their house in Tampa on the market?
