I wouldn't put much stock in a "like" on a Facebook page because it could be because she has a friend who is an agent there or something.

I also wouldn't put any emphasis on the property records. Even if this is all true, I doubt there is a contract on any house, and definitely not a closed deal. At best, I could see somebody in this position purchasing an option on a house, which would not be recorded anywhere.

As far as the land is concerned, my understanding is that they have owned that for some time.

You're absolutely right. Not putting much stock into it. Just thought I'd share, since it was brought up earlier.

The large counties aren't in that database. I have seen that, and Shelby isn't in that either. No conspiracy.

Please do not bring facts into my conspiracy. I am trying to get to the bottom of it. Haslam is still the governor is he not? Rizzle Shizzle I am telling you.

Certainly not a conspiracy, but it is about money. Some counties know that they can charge for the service, so they do. You can walk into any of these counties and look through all of these records for free...

An ass is an ass no matter how it's dressed and you sir are an ass. Bama fan or not, personal shots are uncalled for, but I can't say I am surprised.

Not sure if serious.

You called people morons, said you were more educated and talked about the posters here, lacking teeth.

I'm not the one on the road risking people's lives to read comments on this forum. That would be you.

You may classify everyone as the same, but not me. You endanger others. That makes you a pretty big pos.

the decision to stop digging would be a cost/benefit analysis...If the bottom of your hole is closer to the other side of the earth, keep digging you will come out sooner.

I think that is what he is doing.

FWIW, from LWS about an hour ago:

don't trust anyone who says they know..

I think assessments from both sides of Gruden situation are in progress. outcome of that is likley to dictate dooleys situation.

I wouldn't be surprised at something happening within days or it could go into the next week or two...

My personal opinion is that coach dooley is not likely to be here next season but I also understand that circumstances can change but don't think they have at this juncture..

Is this from the reliable source? Help me out!

Do you know of an NFL coach that was successful in college?

The problem with this is that most of the coaches who go from NFL to college were Failures in the NFL.

Very cool! I might have run into them at our convention a time or two, or who knows, they might be right down the road.

Generally, we are a good bunch of people. "Salt of the earth" is how we have been described by some. that can be good, or very bad.

I get it. He is trying to run away from Gruden as fast and as far as possible.

Thats because they are too stubborn to adjust. Harbaugh at the 49ers adjusted. He was great at Stanford and has the 49ers winning. They need to adjust a little.

The bad news, for him, is that he will probably end up busting through under the pacific ocean somewhere. All that hard work to be a few thousand feet under salt water. The end does not look good for our friend here.

What does that have to do with coaching linebackers??

There is no play calling and you only have to focus on one position instead of an entire defense.

I haven't read every post here, was responding to what I saw. I thought the poster was wanting him as DC, I sure as hell don't want that.

Spurrier and Saban have COLLEGE coaching records that would show they would likely be successful.

Saban had turned Mich St. into a contender for the Big10 title and then he won a NC at LSU. So yes Saban was a "Homerun" hire for Alabama.

Spurrier won the ACC Championship at Duke, NC at Florida, and now has made South Carolina a SEC Champion contender. So yes Spurrier would be a "homerun" hire.

I don't know of another coach out there that matches these two.

But Gruden's success or experience is in the NFL. Do you know of an NFL coach that was successful in college?

Wait a minute bearboy.... your justification was repeatedly posted that CJG's winning % in the NFL was not that great. My first reply provided some details and things to consider as to why we would be excited to have this hire (answering your question).

If you are a vol fan as you claim, that should be enough to help you understand or at least get a response to the info that I posted showing what he accomplished.

Instead, now his "SUCCESS in the NFL will not translate to college football"?

That's some weak **** right there ..... Stop cluttering up this thread with your bama babbling. A lot of folks are trying to keep up with on-topic info and posts.

The irony of being a hypocrite...

I'm not explaining myself to posters on Volnation. Sorry. I got more degrees than you have teeth, so spare the insults.

You tell others to spare the insults while insulting them in the same sentence. You stick up for an Alabama fan that's clearly trolling while attacking Vol fans.

All of while reading comments and replying as you drove down the interstate.

If you think I am going to search these threads while I am driving down an interstates, sorry.

And yet you continued replying. Your reasoning was you could speak into your phone. In the mean time, you kept reading comments and refreshing which also requires taking your eyes off the road.

Congrats on risking the lives of others, hypocrite.

Don't let them stop you coffee. There's mafia connections here somewhere. Keep digging.

Actually, Shelby County has its own assessor and registar site, and they don't charge. The site we were speaking of is through the state. If Gruden had property in Shelby County, I could loook it up right now. Nothing to do with money.

Yes, Jim harbaugh. He would be my top choice for UT, and no one else is even close if we could get him.
