Please stop all the religion talk and arguing back and forth. I know we get off topic, but this is way off the scale lol. Like politics, it brings out too much emotion without reason.

And YES PM would be nice, more things would stay on topic.

Not nearly as much emotion as the Gruden talk brings up.

Just look at the fear and lack of reasoning that Bear Bryant is showing... :)

Man, I love that place. I leave there and can barely breathe. Haven't been in a few years, hoping to get over there this spring.

The family style way they do it, meaning refills on everything until you explode, is unreal. I miss the days when you could order crappie there. It was the only place in the state you could buy legally harvested crappie in a restaurant.

Right.

Telling off a Bama fan is better than "talking into my phone" as I read 50 comments driving down the interstate.

An ass is an ass no matter how it's dressed and you sir are an ass. Bama fan or not, personal shots are uncalled for, but I can't say I am surprised.

Was saban a guarnteed success?

Energize the fan base, get recruits, basic coaching 101.

Spurrier and Saban have COLLEGE coaching records that would show they would likely be successful.

Saban had turned Mich St. into a contender for the Big10 title and then he won a NC at LSU. So yes Saban was a "Homerun" hire for Alabama.

Spurrier won the ACC Championship at Duke, NC at Florida, and now has made South Carolina a SEC Champion contender. So yes Spurrier would be a "homerun" hire.

I don't know of another coach out there that matches these two.

But Gruden's success or experience is in the NFL. Do you know of an NFL coach that was successful in college?

I agree, just not wanting to get pulled into a religion argument because it is a hot topic with me and I would be in the minority here I am sure lol.

Bear is an ass in any religion.

Coldwell Banker-Wallace and Wallace Realtors of Knoxville is listed on the wife's favorites. I wouldn't have a clue how long it has been there though. Stalker, I know.

I wouldn't put much stock in a "like" on a Facebook page because it could be because she has a friend who is an agent there or something.

I also wouldn't put any emphasis on the property records. Even if this is all true, I doubt there is a contract on any house, and definitely not a closed deal. At best, I could see somebody in this position purchasing an option on a house, which would not be recorded anywhere.

As far as the land is concerned, my understanding is that they have owned that for some time.

The catfish is not bad either. Oh and the fried chicken.

Didn't you say that college coaching is harder than NFL?

Is that why the great Saban was a flunky in the NFL? You're confusing yourself again.

Dude, put the shovel down before the hole gets any deeper. YOur fear is clouding any rational thought you might have ever rattled around in your skull.

Does the name "Pete Carroll" ring a bell?

Saban had on good year at Mich St. and it just so happened to be his last year. I think it is hard to say he turned them into a "contender" with 4 6 or 7 win seasons and then a 9 win season.

  1. You don't have to post. :)
  2. Disagreement is cool.
:hi:

But I agree. I'm not driving for a religious discussion up in here.

Tennessee Property Data Home Page OK here it goes time for a conspiracy. Try to click on Knox County Info, it is missing from the list also click on the county itself. Info isn't there. So who has the power to take the info of the tax assessment page? The governor thats who. Who is that? One of UTK's biggest boosters....shizzle just got realizzle.

The large counties aren't in that database. I have seen that, and Shelby isn't in that either. No conspiracy.
