Official Jon Gruden Thread IV

The longer this mess drags on, the less I believe. I want Dooley gone yesterday, but it seems more likely that if they even fire him, they will do it after the season and be behind ark and auburn.

Those two will be open soon. Then the administration will go on a cheap and hurried search. Hart being a Bama guy will mean that we poach another overrated assistant off of Saban's staff.

These are my fears.

I didn't want to bring it up earlier, but this morning at breakfast, an image of Jon Gruden appeared in my toast.

At first I was kind of alarmed, thinking I was going crazy, so I put a little orange marmalade on it.

The damn thing started smiling.

Do you guys think it is a sign?

It's a sign someone dosed your coffee. We use to call that a freebie.

1. I thought Cheek was on the way out anyway
2. If football isn't making money the entire AD suffers
3. If Tennessee football prospers everybody benefits.

If Cheek is removed, does it complicate things in the AD, or anything for that matter?

Rucker wants UT to keep Dooley so he can keep reporting on mediocre (at-best) football for the rest of his career.

Gruden wouldn't give that tool the time of day.

-facepalm-

Haha sorry man, joking. I wish I was serious. My apologies, I can tell you are a real Grudenite like I am.

:eek:hmy: ... :)

Sorry guys. Just a little tired and jumpy at the same time. One of our support staff members blurted out "My sister just heard on the radio that Dooley just resigned!" after a meeting today and got to admit my heart jumped a bit. Even though he had already had his normal press conference and everything... and I had been reading VN all day.

So badly want some good news after moving to Knoxville. It's been so bad since I got here. Ugh.

Will try to keep my wits about me better next time. :hi:
