I really hope the JG deal gets done. But they were going to try to get it done by today and can Dooley today. Since Dools is still here, the deal hasn't been reached yet. Now I'm concerned that we won't get it done. I do know we threw the bank at him this weekend. All we can do now is wait... and hope...

For all of the "next four games" talk, does it really excite anyone to get a W over the likes of KY or Vandy? Troy? He can beat teams like this 8 times a year and I don't give a damn honestly. I want to beat the hell out of GA / FL / AL / SC / LSU / etc. Teams that actually matter and show we are back where we belong at or near the top of the SEC.

Yay we beat some scrub teams, who gives a damn. We Are Tennessee. To hell with mediocrity.

Interesting point. Beating those "next four" teams should be far superior to losing to them, wouldn't you agree?

There is plenty of BS on this board and in this thread. Im sure there is some truth here and there as well.

Some people may not like what that comes to, some may.

IMO the season is over. There are games left on the schedule but the only thing that you will see from them is winning games your supposed to or nasty loses. What you have seen is what you have.

I agree. The games that matter are behind us now and all we have left is the downhill schedule of November.

Yeah but I think the point of the poster was. Those 4 teams you wake up out of a dead sleep and beat the snot out of. But the big name teams we should win our fair share.

I just need the Gruden hire to be announced by Thanksgiving. I would like to include his hire when I'm at the table giving thanks and watch the expressions. :)

Absolutely agree. I never want to see us lose. We could play a merry band of orphans and widows and I would want to hang 60 on them. The point is, I have probably an inflated sense of entitlement when it comes to the VOLS and winning but I expect to win those games. I don't sit around and fret about them. The natural order of the football universe reserves hand wringing and fretting to the scrub teams that have to play UT.

Well, I'm officially taking my ball and going home.

Wake me when Patterson takes the job.

He is, after all, our last hope.
