I just heard and I mean this is a solid inside person to the AD. That Gruden has told Hart he will be the HC at UT for free!!!! All he wants is a Meal Ticket for Waffle House!!! Its getting better all the time for UT FANS

Just a guess, but if they actually did fire him today, I'd say they'd go on with an interim or a position coach leading practice on Monday.

Look I get fans want Gruden or someone else. Do I think Dooley gets it done here? Probably not. But do I think it's smart to keep paying buyouts until we have someone who wins? Not exactly. Tennessee may have money but they aren't made of money. Bettering your W-L each year is our goal. I feel Dooley still has a chance to do that this year. We have competed in every game we've lost besides Alabama. But who has? We have a coach who plays by the rules and has the quality of character we want in a coach. Our secondary hasn't played well. We have had some key injuries. We didn't have Rajon Neal or Randolph for starters and lost by 3 at #13 SC. I don't care for moral victories but at least the players get something out of them. They are progressing. With more money coming into SEC schools from the new tv contracts we will be in the drivers seat in getting anyone we want bc we'll actually have the money to do it in the next year or 2. Dooley has done his job and we are a few bad plays away from winning all those games. The AD isn't just running the football program. They have a thing called a budget. Having a balanced one and even better a surplus is a good thing! Have some patience. I want to win now too. But think about the time between our last NC's. Nearly 50 years. Have fun guys. The team, Dooley and the AD know what's up. If the boosters want to unload money to pay buyouts, fine, but they understand the true ramifications of doing so. Keep talking about not going to games and supporting the team. Be whining little babys and sit in the corner and suck your thumbs and let the men run their business. You bleed orange? Keep it orange. It's easy to be upset. But understand the state of things and we all knew what we were about to be in for. Blame it on Fulmer, Kiffen, Hamilton or Hart if you want. I don't care. But if you're true Tennessee fans stop crapping all over them and us who are and support the school and team. The SEC is crazy strong now, more than ever and whatever happened to get us where we are is unfortunate, but we have to deal with it, and hopefully deal with it in the most positive way possible. Go to the games. Drink it up. Have fun with your family and friends and enjoy some Big Orange Football!!! Support the team and school. Show the recruits we want that we aren't going to lynch them and light up torches if they have a bad game. These boys have had a lo of coaching changes and chose to come play for Tennessee and STAY. Respect and love them for it! Show the recruits we aren't some unstable, unreasonable, illogical and hateful fan base. Show them that no matter how far we're down we'll support them to the fullest. Just like we want them to fight no matter how far they are down. We'll get there! We're TENNESSEE! Have faith, bleed orange! Go Vols!!!

Btw. Meth is a hell of a drug. Y'all need to stop that $#%^!!!

I was defending myself and my opinion. And yeah I can be sarcastic. You make labels.

I've been reading this forum since right before Kiffen took over. All I see I a terrible mindset of our so called fans. I undertand people are upset. But lighting up torches against the AD, the coach, players and other fans is inexcusable.

Call me anything you want I cant promise I won't take offense to offensive things.

If I were a recruit. And I was asked by Fulmer to come walk on in 01', and had a career ending injury and had surgery for. I would be turned off by the fans lack of respect for the program and each other. I have recently decided to start chiming in.

I may not have 22,000 posts. But that's only because I have other things to do with my life. And the fact that everyone who has a positive opinion or not picking up torches as well gets smarta$$ responses or attacks in return.

My family and I have had season tickets since 96' and donate each year no less than $20,000 a year to the university. I grew up in good and bad times in Tennessee football history. I've seen the dumps and I've felt the sky. We go to every bowl game including the whoopings we took from Nebraska in the Orange and Fiesta bowls and K State in the blizzard in Dallas. As well as our famed first ever BCS national title game against FSU.

Never before have I seen such hatred from fans. Such disrespect towards our program and fans.

We are down. But we will get up. We have to have faith that our AD and administration and boosters that give millions know what they are doing.

Like the String Cheese Incident song says...

"Sometimes it seems like such a hard life

The rollercoaster’s got to roll to the bottom, if you want to climb to the top again."

I've never said we would. Dooley has done the job he was given and I applaud him for the job he's done. I would have loved to have seen more wins and even just one signature win but we havent gotten that. I don't believe Dooley will get us back to the top. But by keep on paying millions in buyouts each time we don't get te results while we have a deficit oat going to help either. I'd love to see Gruden or someone else who MIGHT. But what if they don't? Buyout again?

I've just expressed that IF Dooley pulls out an 8-5 season that it would be improve my from the last few seasons when it comes to W-L. I like Dooley. But don't think it's time to dug ourselves deeper and hope the next risk will pay off. What if it doesn't? Changes will need to be made to get to the top but don't think it's time to make that change at this time. Our losses come from TOP teams. Our fans need to chill and show support and help attract recruits here. Our fan base is supposed to be a positive. Something that is a recruiting tool. We've lost that.

I shall remind you of this statement. DD coach at UT 2013. 9 Million reasons why!!!! Our boosters did not make their Millions making gut or stupid decisions. Only Money offered to Gruden is for the NFL. Reality Check!!!!

whats wrong Volfan411 do you live in a Glass House? Kinda like the one Bray lives in? I know reality sucks but there will be a time in life where you will have to face it. And most the time it leads to failure.
