Will we hear anything monday?

Excuse me. My fault.

2010. 6-7
2011 5-7
2012 possible 8-5.

I feel that's an improvement.

IMO that is just more wins rather than improvement. :)

Look at the quality of the wins we have though. We are not beating or even competing with the teams that matter. Plus we have been passed by Arkansas, South Carolina, Mississippi State and somewhat Georgia.

I don't know if I can agree. We competed with SC today, and Georgia a few weeks ago and Miss State all in their homes this year. A few things go our way and we could have won all of those.

Don't. See Hunter or Patterson coming back. Bray is a toss up at this point cause who does he have to throw too when those guys are gone?? Dooley won't. Be fired they will let him go through next year so they don't have to pay the buyout.

I get this awful feeling that he won't get fired this season. Maybe it's because I've come to expect the worst with Tennessee football :(

Dooley, during the locker room interview, didnt sound like a coach who was told he's getting canned. All speculation and 0% proof it's happening. After a while people just start believing what they hear and read. It's human nature to be persuaded. Myself, I'll stick with facts and not wishful thinking.

We could of and maybe should of, but didn't . Like Majors use to say " If it's and buts were nuts we would all have Merry Christmas".

The problem with Dooley is things just don't go his way in his big games.

If Dooley is coaching the bowl game he is going to be here next year. If that is true I will not financially support the university at all next season unless a) Dooley is fired or b) Dooley wins some big games. My gut tells me a) will happen first.

I doubt we win out! Vandy is going to be tough especially with what Dooley said last year. They want revenge and will be out for blood! Our defense can't stop anyone so Missouri will be tough! The next 4 games are not give me games! Dooley has bad luck all over him! He can't even get lucky and win a game! Time for a change my friends!

On the flip side, you have people who are so stubborn that they will shun everything they hear - even with clear evidence supporting it - just because it seems too "big" to happen.

I'd love to know what these "facts" are, too. It's a word that seems to be thrown around pretty hastily because it makes an argument look nice and shiny.

So Dooley got beat. Who in the know thinks we will see a conference on Monday? Is Dooley done? Was Gruden really on a plane taking notes of the UT game? I need something to feel good about.

I have no idea if he was actually taking notes on the game, but I know someone who was on that plane and can confirm he was watching the game (which doesn't really mean anything).
