Let's see:
1 - He is still playing
2 - He has never recruited the first player
3 - He has never coached the first down of football
Look at other players that have become coaches. How many great players have made good coaches.
New head coach for our VOLS. Why not go after him? He would recruit better than anyone imaginable and knows more about football management than most. Plus he would get patience from the fans while he builds the program. If we are going to dream- dream big.

1. He's said he doesn't want to coach.
2. He may have at least 3 good years left in the NFL. (QB Rating is currently 105, would be the 2nd highest in his career).
3. He said he doesn't want to coach.
Congratulations you just shattered my dreams. :cray:
I completely agree. I would just love to see him back here at some point. He specifically said he wouldn't want to coach because the kids would never prepare and practice to his expectations. Peyton is one of the hardest working and most OCD QB's in history. I honestly think when he hangs it up, he may get bored and give it a shot though.
