Well according to Danny O'Brien's twitter, he will be making the trip with the team to USCjr. I guess the coaches are thinking about burning his redshirt.

Hey man disagreeing with me is one thing but simmer down on "Dooley scab BS has gotten to you." type sh*t. I'm a big boy I don't get "gotten". Trust me.

I understand our O has regressed and CP is great but we r missing a big part in DR. Even Clear could have helped. They both had to go, but DR could be considered to be the most compete WR we had. Had been in the system, was in synch with bray, wasn't hurt last yr and having mental issuses about the injury, etc. CP is great but he hasn't been in the system and in synch like DR would have been. Also the timing in when DR left too could have had its negative effects. Not excuses but factors that effect chemistry. I love how people just forget about how much of a factor he was for us, and think losing him wouldn't have a negative effect in regard to on the field performance.

I don't know if cdd can beat Saban or not, but I do know he hasn't been able to get the ship right to make that assessment IMHO. If Saban is currently your benchmark after 2.5 yrs imo your expectations are way to high man.

DY and Smith are wasted schollies to me right now. Smith messed up and dropped too much weight(his problem). Young won't be a better small player than Watson. Elite speed like Watson is what makes him an asset. But Young was brought in to return kicks. Dumbest move I've seen.

And DY isn't making plays in the return game. Bama stuck Cyrus Jones in as a freshman and he made more plays than Young has in two years. Chris Jones(Minor High Alum) for Bama is the same year as DY, makes more plays in the return game. But they weren't brought in to just return kicks. Young provides no value outside of catching punts. He's not a true threat on punt returns. Teams kick directly to him. CP is the type of player that makes STs coaches nervous. You have to say man we can't kick to this dude. With Young they're like go down there and blow him up.

There has been NO progression in 3 years versus Bama. Why should I settle for getting punished by Saban and Dooley isn't outrecruiting him nor can he outcoach him? Muschamp is in his second year but his team is playing to their strengths mighty well. We're not after three years. He's still scared to start young players until midseason. Which is BS in my book. Waiting til after a tough game is crazy. Put them in the fire and let them play ball.

Still no team identity. They don't appear to be getting great in any area. Just a jumbled mis match of philosophies.

So, clear this up for me if I am wrong. At the beginning of this week we didn't even have a contract. By early week, we got a contract to Gruden's agent. And all in the last 3 days, they reviewed the contract, agreed to it and have a staff ready to go.

I'm not saying we aren't talking to Gruden, but this is being written like it is a 30 minute sitcom and this is just one episode.

I have always blamed Grudski for Caddy gettin hurt. He ran the kid to death. He was running between 30-40 times a game right out the box. Once again this is not just my feelings. A lot of TB fans feel this way. BB you don't know what is was like to be a fan of the Bucs during this time, There are a lot of valid reasons we feel the way we do.

That Caddy had 100,000 miles on him coming out of HS. Ask anybody Etowah ran him to death in HS but hell he was that good.

I hate the Gruden thread, and absolutely cannot keep up with the pace of it. I am still 50+ pages behind, which puts me somewhere around this morning I think (SMH).

For those who dare not venture, I will give some info from the thread, who is calling what, as best as I can remember.

Springbokvol = Gruden done deal.

OCIVol = Gruden done deal, Dooley out between Sunday and after KY game

Deerpark = Dooley will be gone. No talk of Gruden. Hart was 100% on Smart, but boosters told him Big Name Coach, or gtho. Hart is now reconsidering is options.

Good source from basketball forum(bloodorange maybe?) = Gruden is a done deal

LWSVol = No deal for Gruden. Very conservative outlook overall. We may contact Gruden but have not.

Skeeter = Dooley probably done. No time frame. Has not heard Gruden's name in the AD

Borovol = Gruden is a done deal. Sit back and wait for it.

stopit28 (legendary randy shannon thread quack) = Gruden is done. Posted pics of himself with sports analysts to prove he knows people.

zasnow = Gruden done deal.

Pretty much anyone who holds a position in actual media says that Gruden will not happen, or has not happened yet.

There are others, but these are the ones who we know to be accurate, or others seem to respect. Hopefully this will save you the few hours of life I have wasted on that forsaken thread.
